MEET KRYSTAL HUGHES

She’s a Wife, Mom, and Bling Boss. Krystal is a small-town girl from Amite, LA. She’s the owner of two successful brands, Krowned Krystals and Krystal Glaze. Shining from Louisiana, she honestly is Thee Bling Belle, and YOUR Bling Bestie!

Before becoming an entrepreneur she taught high school Spanish for five years. As rewarding as that was, she’s now one of the crafting industry's top Rhinestone and Multi-Purpose Glue Suppliers.

Though her husband, retired NFL VET Kevin Hughes, Jr. has contributed to her businesses, Krystal’s dream business was started with about $1700 that she had accumulated through the Teacher’s Retirement System. Kevin and Krystal have been together since age 17 as a result of Kevin being displaced to Krystal’s high school because of Hurricane Katrina.

Kevin had just begun playing football in the 11th grade one year before meeting Krystal. Kevin received a full scholarship to play football at Southeastern Louisiana University, and Krystal followed. Upon graduation, Kevin was blessed with the opportunity to reach a level many aspire to achieve, the NFL. The two have two beautiful daughters, Kyleigh (10) and Karmyn (7). After giving birth to Kyleigh, Krystal was now a stay-at-home mom.

Because of her love for entrepreneurship, Krystal eventually founded Krowned Krystals years later because of her love for all things shiny, sparkly and fancy!

Since Krystal started Krowned Krystals in 2017, her business has grown tremendously because of consistency, hard work, and her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Blinging is a form of therapy, and her company’s mission is to provide therapy to all DIY lovers, crafters, creatives, and rhinestone artists while spreading the love of Christ. From a one woman show, to now having a full team to help her carry out the mission, Krystal is determined to help others think bigger, and shine brighter.

She's also adamant about ensuring that employees send some form of scripture with each order that ships. Because Krystal has been allowed to ship all across the USA, Israel, Mexico, Dubai, Belgium, Hungary, Canada, Romania, France, and so many more places, her mission remains. Krystal desires to inspire others, especially women, to build Kingdom lead businesses. Krystal is a thought leader and now takes joy in motivating other women (and men) through motivational speaking and book writing. 

“But seek Ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” - Matthew 6:33 , is Krystal’s favorite scripture, and the one that she encourages others, especially entrepreneurs, to live by.
